The Route 66 town of Clarmore, Oklahoma gave the state two of its best-loved sons: pundit and actor Will Rogers and Lynn Riggs, scribe of Green Grow the Lilacs, the play that inspired the musical Oklahoma!. Learn more at the Will Rogers Memorial Museum, where you can view his saddle collection and short films about his incredible life, and the Lynn Riggs Memorial, where you can see the original "surrey with the fringe on top" from the movie musical version. Claremore also offers the Will Rogers Raceway, the Cherokee Casino and the J.M. Davis Arms & Historical Museum.
