Vinita

Established in 1871, Vinita is the second oldest town in Oklahoma and as such, has placed a high priority on preserving its history and heritage. A historic downtown district showcases antiques shops and specialty boutiques, the Eastern Trails Museum offers insight into Vinita's history, and historic Route 66 revs up another layer of charm. Eat at the iconic Clanton's Café, a Route 66 institution since 1927; take a cellar tour at Summerside Vineyards and Winery; or go retro with an evening in a classic Route 66 motel, the Route 66 Inn at Vinita.
