Visit the Coleman Theatre and Waylan's Ku-Ku Burger in Miami.

Invite your closest lady pals and prepare to enjoy wine, winning and winding down along the Mother Road.

Day One - Friday

Morning - This Route 66 tour begins in Miami — a cozy little town with a fantastic downtown district. Stroll along Main Street and enjoy the peaceful morning hours shopping for unique treasures in the historic brick buildings.

Afternoon - Make your next stop the Coleman Theatre, a restored vaudeville theater and movie palace that first opened its doors in 1929. Schedule a “Girlfriends Getaway Spa Day” at the Coleman and revel in the splendor and beauty of this historic gem while you indulge in a one-of-a-kind lunch on stage. Afterwards, you’ll be pampered and treated to a great wine class and tasting with products from Vinita’s Summerside Winery.

Evening - Meander through Miami for a bit before check-in time at tonight’s accommodations. Relax in your rooms before heading to the High Winds Casino for what’s sure to be an exciting night with the girls. Take in dinner and a concert, then hit the gaming floor for a turn at the blackjack and poker tables or a tangle with the slot machines. No matter your luck, this night is sure to be a winner.

Day Two - Saturday

Morning - Gather your ladies for a southeast journey towards Chelsea and a stop at the Oak Hills Winery. Exchange old stories and taste made-in-Oklahoma wine like the fruity and light Summer Harvest blend or the award-winning Catawba, a sweet blush wine. Grab a favorite bottle before heading to your final stop — Claremore.

Upon arrival, visit the historic downtown area with over 300 antique and collectible dealers in three blocks. This beautiful district has been restored to resemble what it looked like in the early ’50s and is a scrapbook-worthy spot for a group picture or two with your gals.

Afternoon - Have lunch in the lovely tea room of the Belvidere Mansion. The three-story Victorian mansion was built in 1907 and is a delightful setting for a flavored tea and light lunch. Save time for a tour of the exquisite house that many say is still visited by some spooky former occupants.

Top off the afternoon at the Route 66 Nut House, about seven miles southeast of town. A supreme stop for all things chocolate, the Nut House is filled with perfect girl-trip treats and non-chocolate offerings like jellies, sauces and seasonings, along with Route 66 souvenirs.

Evening - Chocolate in check, head to your nightly digs and freshen up before your evening at the Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs. Tonight’s wonderful dinner comes with live entertainment, horse racing in the simulcast room, gaming and relaxing at the bar. Plan your trip during live horse racing season (February—March) and arrange to have a girlfriend-only viewing box, food and drink service — even a limousine escort to and from your hotel.

Day Three - Sunday

Morning - Spend your final morning sleeping late, sitting with a cup of coffee or take a quiet morning dip in the pool before the last day of fun. Bring your chick trip full circle with a stop at one of Claremore’s fabulous day spas.  Ladies will swoon for services like manicures, pedicures, massages and facials.

Afternoon - Before leaving town, have lunch at Hammett House. In business since 1969, this local legend is a must-stop for home cooking. Pick out an entrée, but begin your final meal with dessert — you don’t want to miss house specialties like sour cream raisin or lemon pecan pie. Enjoy your slice a la mode. It’s a sweet way to wrap up this girly Route 66 getaway.
