      The Mohawk Lodge Indian Store was the first trading post in Indian Territory. It opened in 1892 as a beading house for Cheyenne women to make and sell their handmade creations. The store was moved to its present location on Route 66 in Clinton in 1940. View all Photos
      White Dog Hill offers an unassuming menu, but the cuisine is simply exquisite. Quail, steak, Cornish game hens, grilled shrimp and pork chops are savored by guests while enjoying amazing views of the western Oklahoma landscape. But the landscape isn't the only thing visitors have seen; it seems that a ghost named Dottie also inhabits the historic Clinton Country Club building.
