At the age of 6, Shauna got lost while hiking with her family in the lush rain forests of southeastern Nigeria. That's when she decided that living off the beaten path was for her. For more than 20 years, the Oklahoma City writer has traversed the state in pursuit of untold stories while writing for Oklahoma Travel and Tourism, Oklahoma Today and The Oklahoma Gazette.
