Head to Main Street in Duncan for the annual Founder's Day celebration. The weekend is full of all kinds of different activities to show off the town and the unique things it has to offer. It all begins with a 5K in Fuqua Park at 8am Saturday followed by the tractor parade. Don't miss the awards ceremony where competitors will be given prizes for oldest tractor, Founder's Choice and more. Throughout the day, take advantage of the many home and garden vendors along with food stands serving some tasty treats.

The Marlow Gunfighters will be providing entertainment all day with fake gun fights and Old West brawls right on the streets of downtown Duncan. Catch a show or two while you're making your way to the many activities in the area like the queen event. See who will be crowned the Founder's Day Queen at a special ceremony at the Stephens County Historical Museum. One lucky lady will take the stage and win the title for a full year.

Don't miss out on the historic Foreman Prairie House Annual Open House on Saturday. The W.T. Foreman Prairie House is a historic piece of the city and also a museum. Take a tour and enjoy lemonade and cookies served on the front porch. An art walk will also be held during the celebration and will feature work the excellent work of local artists. Bring the entire family to browse the stunning artwork, listen to some great live music and let the kids play in the kids' zone.
