Ashley, this is the page for Roman Nose Lodge. We list campsite information on the Roman Nose State Park page at travelok.com/romannose. Pets are welcome in all of Oklahoma's state parks provided they are cleaned up after and kept on a leash no longer than 10 feet. Campsite rates are $12 for a tent site with no hookups, $20 for an RV site with water and electric and $23 for full hookup sites. Some sites, like those along the water's edge, are designated as 'premium' and cost an additional $5. Happy camping and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Ashley on 02/08/15

Where is the information about campsites? I need to find out pricing and if pets are allowed. Thank you

I was at the Roman Nose Lodge and I asked for the fried catfish, but I didn't want the hush puppies as I don't like hush puppies. I asked for something else and they said I couldn't substitute something else. This is a huge waste, first of all and ridiculous. If I am willing to pay more for something else, then I should get something else. After all, I am a paying customer.

David, sorry for any confusion. This is the page for the lodge. If you'd like to see more information on the lake or the park in general, please click on those links under 'See Related Listings' on the upper right side of this page. Best wishes and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From David Lebow on 07/10/14

Why are all of the pictures of the lodge? Why none of the swimming pool or lake?

From Jon A. Morgan Joyce Morgan on 10/24/13

We have been taking our camper to Roman Nose for the last 6 years. You will never meet nicer people and the country is beautiful. If you have never been you won't be sorry if you go. We love this place and the people.

From Marcia Rowland on 09/26/13

My lifelong friend and I have recently retired and love to fish for trout. We would possibly like to rent a cabin the first 3 days of November. Can you give me rates and make any suggestions for 2 ladies.

we are planning a camping trip for girl scouts so far we have about 15 girls and 8 moms, we were wanting to rent the cabins for a night, can you tell me how many it will sleep and the rates

From TravelOK.com Staff on 09/16/13

Laura, according to Roman Nose State Park staff, two of the park's 11 cabins are pet friendly, but no pets are allowed in the lodge. There is an additional fee of $10 per pet per night in the cabins. Dogs are allowed in the campgrounds for no additional fee as long as they are kept on a leash no longer than 10 feet and cleaned up after. If you have any questions, please call 580-623-7281. Please mention that you have a pet if you do choose to stay in a cabin. Best wishes and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Laura on 09/16/13

I will be coming with Bet Ami. I need to understand the rules about bringing my dog. Will it make a difference if I sleep in a cabin or a tent? I will feel safer if he is with me.

From TravelOK.com Staff on 07/10/13

Kenneth, we're so sorry that you did not enjoy your time spent at Roman Nose State Park! Lake Watonga and Lake Boecher are Oklahoma Department of Wildlife Conservation lakes, so their primary purpose is for fishing and wildlife habitat. Swimming, wading and floating rafts are not allowed. We have updated the description to better reflect that. We sincerely hope that you'll give our state parks another visit in the future. Best wishes and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Kenneth Patrick on 07/10/13

we take our grand kids from TN to a different State Park every year and Roman Nose has been by far the biggest disappointment we've had. No where on the web site does it say you can't swim in the lake. Who ever heard of such. It's just for fishing. They have a nice big swimming pool but you have pay to swim in it. We could swim in the lodge pool and enjoyed that because no one else was there. Imagine that. We ate at the lodge and it took us over an hour to get our meal. We had to send one plate back because it was cold. Sad vacation for our grand kids.

Keith, you can reserve lodge rooms by clicking the green 'Book Now' button at the top of this page. Best wishes and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Keith Dietz on 07/06/13

Is there a website to reserve rooms at the lodge?

From TravelOK.com Staff on 06/17/13

Melissa, pets are allowed in two of the park's 11 cabins, so please let the staff know that you will be bringing along your furry friend when you call to make reservations. There is also an additional fee of $10 per night. Have a great time at Roman Nose State Park and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From Melissa James on 06/17/13

I was wondering if the cabins are pet friendly?

From TravelOK.com Staff on 06/10/13

Amy, each of the cabin's kitchens is equipped with pots, pans and cooking utensils. There are also enough plates, cups and silverware for the maximum number of occupants in the cabin. If you have any questions, please give Roman Nose State Park a call at 580-623-7281. Best wishes and thank you for using TravelOK.com!

From amy on 06/08/13

I was wondering if the kitchen in the cabins has pots and pans?

From irene morgan on 05/20/13

i was there with my sewing group on a retreat. we each had at least one sewing machine and other electrical appliances. we used the conference room for our retreat. there is no electricity on one whole wall of that room. it made it difficult to get our machines plugged in. some of these machines are very expensive and with this situation, it put them all at risk of power failure. The service at the restaurant was deplorable. it took at least 45 minutes to be served a chicken green salad. i realize that your restaurant is not a fast food place, but that length of time is just not acceptable. if i come again iI will be sure to plan to eat my meals elsewhere.

Do you have a club room that could be used for a RV club of 13-15 rigs. If so, what would be the cost. We are all retirees. No children. Non smoking, etc.

From S Givens on 10/01/12

I love it up there. Great pool. Beautiful rooms. Walking trails. Nice people.

My wife and I celebrated our 12 anniversary at the lodge, we were very pleased with the accommodations. The food was first rate and the service was outstanding. Where can I see pictures of the cabins and where they are located. Are they close together or how are they arranged?

From Gena McPhail on 03/21/12

We LOVE this park!! Although....we have stayed in the cabins, years past, and remember the cabins being comfortable for the entire family. They are way too small, now, just for a family of four. Next time we will have to rent two cabins just to comfortably accomodate the family of 6. Great golf....Great stable.....great restaurant.....we will always have great memories of this place!!

From TravelOK.com Staff on 02/28/12

Joe, not sure that the lodge is pet-friendly but there are probably some cabins that are. Please give the lodge a call on the toll-free number above or by email and the lodge staff would be happy to assist you with your reservation. Best wishes and thank you for using TravelOK.com.

We were very disappointed that the Lodge pool was closed. Do you know when it will be open again? We are planning on having three family reunions, but would like to have the lodge pool opened. Every part of the lodge looks great and we are excited to return.....also, bring back the baked potato on your menu. Thank you!

From Jesse Benjamin Jr. on 06/27/11

Very nice place to visit loved there cottages

From Chris on 02/16/11

Why in the world would the state of Oklahoma build a brand new lodge that doesn't even have a room for a family? Who in the world thought a room with a queen and twin bed was a good idea? Not a family friendly lodge!!!!!!

From Judy Atkins on 01/23/11
