The Lodge at Sequoyah State Park, formerly known as Western Hills Guest Ranch, offers on-site lodging within the park. It is the largest of Oklahoma's state park lodges with 104 lodge rooms and suites, 44 cottages, a bunkhouse that sleeps 44 people, a restaurant, meeting rooms, zero-entry swimming pool with children's splash park, tennis courts, playgroups, recreation programs, outdoor cookouts and more.

Campground facilities at Sequoyah State Park include 46 full hookup and 78 water and electric hookup RV sites, 150 tent sites, comfort stations, lighted boat ramps and group picnic shelters. The group camp facilities include 10 A-frame cabins that can accommodate 150 people, as well as an air conditioned and heated dining hall.

Visit Three Forks Nature Center within the park and view the live animals and educational displays. The on-site park naturalist is available for individual and group programs. The two-mile paved trail in the park is perfect for hiking, biking, walking and running. The 18-hole Sequoyah Golf Course and pro shop offers rental equipment, snacks and drinks, corporate outings, tournament bookings and more. A newly opened 18-hole disc golf course is located on the golf course. A fee is required to play the disc golf course and carts are available for a fee. Sequoyah Riding Stables provides trail rides and hayrides on wooded and open trails inside the park. Bring your group to Cowboy Camp at the stables. The full-service marina at Paradise Cove features boat rentals, boat sales, loading dock, gas dock, slip rental, paddle boats, personal watercraft, storage, bait and tackle supplies.

Sequoyah State Park is an ideal getaway just 45 minutes southeast of Tulsa. Guests will enjoy the diversity of activities throughout the year. Children's activities are planned throughout the spring, summer and fall. Historical sites, dining and unique shopping can be found just minutes from the lodge in the nearby towns of Wagoner, Muskogee and Tahlequah. ***NOTICE*** (May 17, 2013): Testing was performed on May 17, 2013 and while blue green algae counts were elevated in the Rocky Point Beach area of Fort Gibson Lake, toxicity levels reported on May 17, 2013 are below the World Health Organization threshold. Visitors should not drink untreated water or let themselves or pets come in contact with areas of discolored water. Although swimming in this area is discouraged, visitors can still enjoy boating and many land activities around Fort Gibson Lake.

Recent water quality tests were performed on the Taylor Ferry North Beach area of Fort Gibson Lake and have shown that blue green algae did not pose a concern for recreational use at the time the tests were performed.

Brittany, here is the current pricing on the cabins- The cabin for two without a kitchenette is $75, with a kitchenette is $80. A hillside cabin for four without a kitchenette is $80, with is $75. The lakefront cabins for four are $90 without a kitchenette, $95 with a kitchenette. The cottages for six, which are all lakefront, are $115. Ernest, The Bunkhouse at Sequoyah Lodge does have modern amenities such as a kitchen, dorm style showers. The Bunkhouse has 10 rooms for sleeping and will accommodate 46 guests. Sequoyah State Park has a Group Camp that has 10 A Frame cabins as well.

Just a comment to Teresa, we stayed at the park last weekend in a cabin by the lake. We were in and out all weekend, and never saw a single tick. Bugs and spiders, yes, but no ticks. We had a great time. Cabins were clean and there were lots of activities for the kids to do. Would definitely come back.

The first of Sept., after stopping at the visitor information center we went for a short walk on the bike trail by the entrance. The park has had a terrible tick problem since we started going in the '70's but we had only walked 100 feet when our arms and legs were crawling with an unbelieveable number of very tiny ticks. We rushed home, showered, picked off ticks and scrubbed the dog. Three days later I came home and there were thousands and thousands of ticks, the size of poppy seeds that had fallen off the dog all over the house. When I put her in the shower to again wash with flea & tick shampoo the ticks were absolutely 3 layers deep. I scrubbed her for almost 2 hours. There should have been a warning sign posted at the entrance and at the visitor center. I will never go back to Sequoyah State Park.

MY FAMILY STAY'S THERE EVERY YEAR FOR A WEEK WE RENT CABINS THERE GREAT NEWLY REMODELED THE STAFF IS REALLY NICE AND OUT GOING I LEFT A 300.00 DOLLAR FISHING POLE DIDN'T REALIZE I LEFT IT CALLED A WEEK LATER THEY STILL HAD IT THATS HONESTY GREAT FOR EVERYONE AND ALL AGES

We stayed at Sequoyah RV Park and it was so peaceful. The surrounding trees are a sight to behold and the lake is beautiful. The RV pad and picnic table were new and more than adequate. The birds and butterflies along with the view of the lake made for a peaceful few days!!

When attempting to reserve at Seminole Campground by phone for several sites for an RV club, the staff were unfamiliar with the $200 security bond for advance reservations our club has on deposit with the State. Thus requiring the wagonmaster to pay for all sites, the first nights rates by his credit card.

My family just held a family reunion here in July 2011 – very adequate accommodations for what we needed. It was a great facility in that it had something for everyone even though it was extremely hot. Can't say enough about the treatment and fun we had. The place could stand some updating but overall it was clean & comfortable. Restaurant food was great also with reasonable prices. The caterered prepared food was good as well. We plan on coming back again but know we have to plan far in advance. The hotel staff were friendly & very accommodating.

My family loves this place. We've stayed in the cabins several times. In fact, we are headed there again next week. Can't wait to see the newly remodeled pool! The staff is wonderful and the Lodge restaurant is a real down-home treat!

my family has gone to this park for years, and we always love the beaches here. Tent camping is great, and there are tables and grills in some places, but gets really busy on holiday weekends.

We camped here for Spring Break it is our favorite. We tent camped and enjoyed the many amenities of the lodge. The kids loved the arts and crafts and the deer were beautiful to watch. Staff was wonderful and we plan to go back for Spring Break 2011. It was worth the 5 hour drive.

We stayed in a cabin at Western Hills and the rooms were very clean & nice. Mind you it wasn't the Hilton or Marriott but then the price isn't either. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved seeing all the wildlife.

there was no picnic tables, No grills on rv campsite, Rates were high for tent campers, Dead fish all over banks, grass was not mowed or weedeated
