Kicker World Headquarters & Visitors Center
The Kicker World Headquarters & Visitors Center in Stillwater invites visitors to experience high-end audio and tricked-out demo vehicles in an architecturally engaging setting. Kicker, a producer of high-quality audio gear, has created a Visitors Center that is used to educate the public on how great sound can enhance life adventures.
Enter the Kicker Visitors Center and witness the Sound-Wave wall, which consists of 19 synchronized 15-inch Kicker Solo-Baric subwoofers. Imitating a sound wave, the square Solo-Barics are suspended along the wall and vibrate in pre-programmed sequences. Follow the path past the brushed aluminum map of the globe and view the Livin' Loud Legacy exhibit displayed on four, 11-ft high columns that take full advantage of the atrium's height. These towers illustrate the Kicker story, focusing on speaker technology, colorful company history, innovation and product development.
The Art of Install exhibit at the Kicker Visitors Center curves 40 feet along the perimeter of the sweeping glass window. The Art of Install explores the importance of a proper audio system installation in a vehicle, while the arc window offers a view outside to the garden and Boomer Lake, a picturesque Stillwater landmark.
Steps away, visitors can hear and feel the rumble of Kicker's Wall of Boom, a massive display that stands over 14-ft tall and 20-ft wide and showcases 28 subwoofers and 46 additional speakers, with 18 amplifiers powering them. A touch-screen controller delivers the thunder of sound, while custom demo vehicles and displays are scattered throughout the room. The Visitors Center opened with the 1964 Kicker Monster Energy Impala, the incredible Polaris SnoKat UTV and the refined 1960 Kicker Metropolitan, all which feature custom, top-to-bottom mods with incredibly impressive audio installations.
After perusing the Kicker World Headquarters & Visitors Center, head to the on-site gift shop for high-end headphones, earbuds, docking systems, t-shirts, caps and more.
