Unfortunately, I agree with Nancy. When you first turn off the highway you feel like you just pulled into a backwoods trailer park. Trash and dilapidated mobile homes all over. Place is pretty nasty as far as that goes. For the fisherman, it's a great place for bank fishing. When the water is up, Blue and Flathead Catfish are good sized. Don't expect to catch many fish that will fit in a frying pan. It's also a great place for snagging Spoonbills otherwise known as Paddlefish. Bait is easy enough to come by if you have even the smallest cast net. Large eddies along the bank contain plenty of shad 3-5 inches long. By appearance, it's one of the State of Oklahoma's nastiest public access areas I've found so far.

I've camped here for a long time and I fish here like every week and it's a pretty good place to fish

There's nothing recreational about this place. Rented from this place as i would be working here for 2 years and it was a mistake bThe first spot i was assigned had no electric meter and i was told i had to buy one and i could keep it. And i said not at all! When i get out of here i will be moving to another state. So i got assigned another spot and Took a week to get electricity connected as manager forgot to submit rental agreement. My water line broke and ended up without water for 2 days. The gate is supposed to be locked from 11-6 and they close it at 10. If you want a key you have to leave a deposit. Alot of Tenants have dogs. Its not a very clean place. Tenants have to pay to get yard mowed. This place is not a good place at all! Look somewhere else.
