The Chouteau Lock and Dam area features boat launching ramps, campsites, picnic areas, drinking water and sanitary facilities.

***NOTICE***  As part of the McClellan Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, the Chouteau lock will close for four hours daily beginning October 1, 2012 sometime within an 11am-5pm window.  This will allow personnel to perform routine preventative and scheduled maintenance.  During the daily 4-hour period, no lockages for commercial or recreational boats will take place.
