Delicious sushi rolls in many flavor combinations cover the menu at Sushi Train, located in Tulsa. Sushi Train serves their sushi with a unique twist: they send it out to you on a plate by an actual mini-train. As the train goes around the bar, you can choose a plate right off the train, and plates are color-coded by price to easily keep track of how much you are spending.
Sushi Train offers not only sushi, but non-sushi Asian dishes as well. For an appetizer, order the crab cakes or fried scallops. Try a bowl of jampong, a spicy soup with shrimp, mussels, octopus, scallops and vegetables, served with rice cakes. Entrees such as chicken teriyaki, shrimp and scallop tempura, sweet and sour chicken and udon soup are some of the mouth-watering choices.
The sushi roll choices at Sushi Train seem endless, with a great selection of creative and innovative flavor combinations. Try the bayou roll with catfish, blackened shrimp, carrot, jalapeno, cucumber and house spicy sauce, or try the Lisa roll with shrimp tempura, crab, avocado and cucumber with spicy sauce. The smoke stack roll is sure to make an impression with spicy tuna, green onion, cilantro, carrot and habanero. With over 50 rolls to choose from, there's something for every taste. Vegetarian sushi rolls are also available, such as the green field roll, with green onion, avocado, cucumber, lettuce and broccoli and the oschiinco roll with pickled radish. There are also many options for the nigiri sushi, which is two pieces of fish on top of seasoned rice. Fried prawn, creamy scallops, salmon roe, snapper and eel are among the choices.
Sushi Train also offers a children's menu. Kids can choose from a yummy peanut butter and jelly sandwich, grilled cheese sandwich, mini corndog or pizza rolls, each served with french fries. For dessert, try a cheesecake roll or the dessert sushi, a rice krispy treat wrapped in a fruit roll-up with gummy bears.
