Come to Hog Wild BBQ & Chrome Fest in Chandler for an Oklahoma State Championship barbecue contest, a car and bike show and two days of wholesome family fun Friday and Saturday at the Farmers Market Pavilion south of Tilghman Park.
The event will start at 4pm on Friday June 15th with a wide variety of vendors, including the People's Choice Tasting and plenty of games and activities for children. As an added bonus, various entertainers will set the stage for the headlining band, Chad Sullins. Stick around for fireworks that will begin around 10:30pm.
Saturday’s festivities will begin at 8:30am with the Hillbilly 5K Obstacle Mudrun and Car & Bike Show, complete with burnouts. Meanwhile, the judges will be gearing up to judge the entries into the Kansas City Barbecue Society (KCBS) sanctioned barbecue contest.
Throughout the day Saturday, kids' games and vendors will be in full swing with continuous entertainment from the stage area. The festivities will wrap up around 4pm, with an awards ceremony presented by Bo Phillips.
Hog Wild BBQ & Chrome Fest will be good wholesome fun for the whole family. People of all ages will find something of interest. Vendors, artists, a kids' play area, car and bike show, lots of food, fun and entertainment will all be readily available at this summer festival.
