Celebrating forestry, the Wright City Lumberjax Festival features competitive events including axe throwing, crosscut sawing, double-buck sawing and jack & jill sawing. The family-friendly festival also offers many other events and activities, including a 5k run, softball tournament, art, photography and quilt show, the Little Mr. & Miss Lumberjax Pageant, town tours, a wildlife exhibit and horseshoe tournament. Activities for children are also offered, including face painting, games and inflatables. Craft vendors will display their finest homemade wares, while food vendors will be on-site to provide a delicious snack or meal. Locals will show off at the talent show, and a variety of bands will perform throughout the day.
