Big Prairie Bucks
Big Prairie Bucks, located in Atoka, is 5,000 acres of some of the most beautiful country in southeastern Oklahoma with thick creek bottoms, hardwood ridges and rolling native prairie. It is home to an abundance of wildlife, like white-tail deer, wild hogs and turkeys.
Persimmon and acorns are the preferred native food source on the ranch, along with acres of greenbriers and elm thickets, which make it an excellent habitat for growing trophy bucks. Big Prairie Bucks also feed year-round with Purina Antlermax Protein Pellets, as well as food plots with a variety of wheat, rye, tecomate and biologic blends. They are a member of the Deer Management Assistance Program and have a 1:1 buck to doe ratio. Since its inception in 2000, Big Prairie Bucks has continued to see an increase in the quality and size of their deer.
Big Prairie Bucks has a strict trophy buck policy (10 point of 16" spread), which allows the bucks to reach their full potential. Only a limited number of hunters will be allowed during each season. A ranch house that is able to sleep eight is available just minutes from several tree stands. Big Prairie Bucks provides guided hunts in addition to tree stands, ground blinds, box blinds and two man stands.
