Every year our rather old group of friends join each other somewhere. This year we were in Vinita, and we scheduled a ride. We were all farm girls, but only two were experienced with horses. I went in skeptical, I have seen many riding stables in my life and expected the same nags and hype from the wranglers. NO CONTEST! The staff made us feel right at home, joking about our age, our life experience...and then the horses came in. I have spent my life with horses and mules, and these are some of the best horses I have seen. They are healthy, conditioned, well tacked, well shod, well trained and even seemed to enjoy their jobs squiring around rank beginners. The young lady, Christina, that guided us, was a great wrangler, what I had imagined one of my daughters would be in that job. The petting zoo animals were also very well socialized and healthy. The site was clean, well maintained and lovely. I have ZERO negatives, and can say this was the best 35 dollars I spent on this trip. Take your family and enjoy with confidence.
