Buffalo Creek Guest Ranch

I saw that Oklahoma Licing Magazine readers selected your ranch as the top outdoor wedding venue in Oklahoma but I don't see any prices on your website. What would a wedding for 150 cost?

Staying at the Buffalo Creek Ranch was a wonderful experience and will undoubtably provide lasting memories!

We attended a wedding there last fall. Was not expecting much but was extremely surprised! Our 25th anniversary is coming up and we had planned on Vegas. But we have decided that Buffalo Creek is where we're going to spend this special occasion! Can't wait!!!

Great place. Enjoyed the fishing. The food was great. Very relaxing. Wonderful vacation making new friends.

What a pleasant surprise! We honestly didn't know what was in store for us this weekend but we were greeted & treated like family! We enjoyed our rides through the country & the fishing but the hospitality topped it all! Thanks so much for the new friendships. The food was delish but I think the bisquits were my fav!

The food was delicious in a authentic cajun style shrimp boil with shrimp raised in a pond on the property of Buffalo Creek Guest Ranch. Dave and Darleen were warm and friendly as always. Plenty of entertainment was provide from all day activities such as horse shoes and obstacle course to night time entertainment of live red dirt music with Robby VanVekoven. All in all despite the rain it was a good time and a great way to spend our date night!

9/29/12 I had the pleasure of visting the Buffalo Creek Guest Ranch yesterday for their first annual Shrimpfest. I can’t say enough about how wonderful, warm and friendly Dave and his wife Darlene were to all their guests that attended. It was such a privledge to spend all day with the Shaw family and so many of their friends. I will forever concider the Shaw family my friends. The lodge, ficilities and all the aminities at the ranch are outstanding, so beautiful. This is a great place for a vacation, for the weekend or just an overnight stay. Anyone looking for a place to relax and enjoy the great outdoors should not hesitate to make their reservations at the Buffalo Creek Guest Ranch. Janice Searle Roland, OK

I just recently stayed at The Buffalo Creek Guest Ranch. I had never stayed at Guest Ranch before so I wasn't sure what to expect. I want to thank Dave and Darlene for an exceptional weekend. The king suite was plush and the food was great. The salt water pool was not too cold and the horse back riding was awesome. They even let us ride around on the ranch on an All Terrain Vehicle! Just the peaceful serenity of this place makes it a winner, but the hosts and the accomodations make it a cut above all the rest. I will revisit the ranch and take as many family members that I can. The only word to describe this ranch and it's owners is AWESOME!

My wife and I recently stayed at this Guest Ranch. We had a fabulous time! This is first class accomodations!! Bedrooms were beautiful and the king bed was so comfortable. Dave and Darlene Shaw went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable, happy and well fed!! It is very peaceful and the scenery is gorgeous. We definately will be back. Highly recommend this! We spent last weekend at the Buffalo Creek Guest Ranch and I must say it is now one of my favorite places to be! Beautiful scenery and friendly folks. The rooms were gorgeous. I have known the Shaw Family since 1987 Dave's dad was one of my dearest friends and he follows his dads steps .This place Dave n Dar have created is the most wonderful places n the world ,Relaxing ,Peaceful, Breathtaking it will Make you SPEECHLESS If you haven't tried it you have NO IDEA OF WHAT YOU HAVE MISSED N THIS LIFE Take a Weekend you won't want to come back to reality of the real world .Hint if you haven't tried Dar's cooking then you don't know what real food taste like .Give this place a shot and I PROMISE YOU WILL BE SAYING I'VE HAD A LITTLE PIECE OF HEAVEN

We are having an amazing time at the Guest Ranch. What a beautiful home and ranch!! The views and sunsets are extraordinary and I can't wait to make my photo album with all the pictures I took. The food was fabulous! The bed was super comfortable with the most luscious sheets EVER!! You can't get this kind of hospitality anywhere! I highly recommend this experience to everyone.

Thoroughly enjoyed my week at your lovely home. You made me feel like one of the family. The company, comfy bed and the food were the greatest! And thanks for keeping me sane as my son attended his first camp experience at the nearby Boy Scout facility.

The place is amazing, the crafstmanship both inside and out is immaculate, their hospitality is second to none, the food is incredible. You will not find a better getaway in this part of the country, so why even try? Definately a place to add to your bucket list, or any list for that matter. Top of the line!!

Dave, I just wanted to thank you again for accommodating us for the horseback ride last week. It was wonderful and we all had a great time. We will definitely be back for a visit. The grandmas have been telling EVERYONE about their RTV adventure, and Sarah wants to ride Sugar next time.

Durring my stay I met some friends from Tulsa and all of us had a blast! What a wonderful time can't wait to go back!

My family and friends were invited to Buffalo Creek Ranch for dinner. It was absolutely one of the best dinning experiences that I have had. The ambiance was perfect. We sat in front of the fireplace and visited while Darlene quietly moved about the kitchen. Mr. Shaw gave us a tour of the facilities as we walked along we visited with the farm animals and observed future projects of the Buffalo Creek Ranch. What a wonderful place to stay for an evening, a weekend or a week for that fact. When we returned Darlene had prepared delicious finger food and appetizers. The dinning table was decorated beautifully. Our food was delicious. Steaks were prepared to perfection. I would recommend this to anybody for a get away or a night out for wonderful food and fellowship. That special night out. The story telling, laughter was great medicine for all of us. The only thing that could have made our visit better was if Darlene and Dave could have joined us for dinner.

I stayed at the Guest Ranch because I had to be in the area for business. Mr. Shaw met me at my vehicle to help me carry in my things. He gave a tour of the house then he and his wife welcomed all my questions about the area. They were very knowledgeable and helpful.

By far the most beautiful place in Oklahoma! Actually I would go as far as saying in any of the surrounding states and then some. I will definitely be returning! Perfect for a couple or a group.

Quite country home lodge on the range. This place is a beautiful peaceful step into laid back country life. Dave & Darleen will treat you to some good food & good company or privacy which ever you prefer. This makes for a great place to stop on your way to the Talimena Science Drive.

This is the most beautiful place I've ever visited. It is gorgeous here. Amazing services, food & a very friendly atmosphere. We had our wedding here in April, 2011 & we could not have been more pleased with the way they helped & took care of everything so we could have a hassle free day! Our wedding guest were astonished by the great view & everything Buffalo Creek Guest Ranch had to offer. Highly recommend that everyone check this place out!
