Tonkawa Tribal Powwow

Come out and experience the Tonkawa Tribal Powwow, an annual tribal celebration featuring Native American dancing, contests, crafts, artwork and food. Dance styles will include straight, fancy, traditional, cloth and buckskin categories. Stick around for a traditional Tonkawa scalp dance during the festival and a Nez Perce memorial ceremony Saturday morning. This year's event will also include sporting tournaments, a catfish tournament and a scout dance. Free camping, along with electric and water hookups, will be available.

Take the Tonkawa/Ponca City exit on I-35 and head east 4.5 miles. Turn south at the sign on Hwy 60 and follow the signs. Located 1 mile east of the city of Tonkawa and 3/4 mile south of Hwy 60.
