A tribute to the area's mining heritage, the museum contains mining instruments and tools, models, historic photos and area artifacts. The museum also houses old cemetery records, funeral home records and tax rolls from 1910 to 1930. Donations appreciated.

I am intrigued by coal mines an sum 10 years ago i obtained alot of oklahoma coal mine memorabilia such as stock certificates from the cameron coal an mercantile and deeds that stretch from cameron oklahoma to wilburton oklahoma along with the receipts for the land at the time it was called indian land also detailed grids that mark the land an complete layout of the coal mine it all dates 1904 and below into 1880 all inwich were purchased by j.e reynolds the last serving captain at fort Smith an the builder an original owner an builder of the captains castle inwich i also possess the deed to ...i have a box full of antique memerabillia...for a small fee i would gladly donate to your museum for when i visited it i was intrigued to why ypu wouldnt posses detailed paper work such as this in your establishment ..please let me know ..thank you an good day
