Tulsa Genealogy Center
Located in midtown Tulsa, the Tulsa Genealogy Center houses an abundance of genealogy resources. The center itself contains an 1,000-square-foot meeting room, research and lounge areas to seat 44 and six computers for research. The massive collection of genealogy records at the Tulsa Genealogy Center consists of books, microfilm, microfiche, maps and research files.
Information available at the center includes vital records, complete census records for Oklahoma, military records, passenger and immigration lists, family histories, state and county histories, the final rolls of the Five Civilized Tribes and a heraldry section. The following online databases are also available at the Tulsa Genealogy Center: Ancestry Library Edition, Heritage Quest, Fold3 (formerly Footnote) and New England Ancestors. Another valuable resource at the center is the "Cemetery Index of Oklahoma," a 77-volume series that lists all known cemeteries in each county, along with the location of each cemetery.
