Vinita Public Library
The Vinita Public Library has excellent genealogical resources for Craig County. The library is staffed by volunteers from the Craig County Genealogical Society from 1-4pm during weekdays and Saturday by appointment.
The library's genealogy records include Indian Territory maps, Cherokee marriage licenses from 1902-1907, the Vinita Daily Journal from 1960-1970 on microfilm, Craig County cemetery books, obituary records from 1920-present, the 1890 Indian census, as well as various census books from Missouri and Kentucky.
