Baker Street Pub & Grill
This restaurant is the very essence of Sherlock Holmes; the only mystery is how they continually improve upon the already outstanding service, fresh made food, generous drink specials and live entertainment. The entire restaurant, down to the name, is a nod to the fictional detective who lived at 221B Baker Street. The decor is a mix of London hodgepodge that's just as eclectic as the interior of Sherlock Holmes famed sitting room.
Start your meal with a traditional appetizer or try something new and order the Scotch egg, a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage, breaded and fried to golden brown perfection. Don't fill up too soon, because you'll want to save plenty of room for their unique and delicious entrees. Baker Street Pub has something for every palate like Baja tacos with your choice of meat tossed with Monterey Jack cheese, sliced carrots, red onions, purple cabbage, diced tomatoes and fresh cilantro topped with Serrano mayonnaise or chipotle mango sauce. There are also several varieties of Sherlock's sliders, sirloin burgers, thick-cut steak, seafood and pasta dishes.
Some of the Baker Street favorites include fish & chips, which include beer-battered Atlantic cod served with seasoned fries, tartar sauce and malt vinegar, and bangers & mash, which is grilled British sausage with Guinness mushroom gravy, garlic mashed potatoes and green beans.
Take your meal around the fire-pit on the outdoor patio or on the comfortable leather couches surrounding the fireplace inside. Tables and secluded booths are also available near the stage where you can enjoy live music nearly every night of the week. Baker Street also has two pool tables and several dart boards, as well as seating around the full bar that is sure to have your favorite beverage. One of the restaurant's most quirky attractions is the hidden restrooms. The bookshelves to the left of the stage overlap to hide the secret entrance.
