BBQ Cook-Off
The BBQ Cook-Off in Hennessey is a fun, one-day event the whole family can enjoy. Cooking begins early in the morning, so the pork and country style ribs have plenty of time to get prepared over either a wood or propane fire. The meat is judged by presentation, taste, texture and tenderness. Participate in the 5k run and walk that begins at 10am to really work up an appetite. There are other fun activities throughout the day. Guests can come out to watch the judging or swing by afterward and enjoy a delicious barbecue and beans dinner. Don't miss this exciting event.
