The annual Archaeology Day and Birthday Bash at the Spiro Mounds Archaeological Center is a day to celebrate the public opening of the only prehistoric Native American archaeological site in Oklahoma. Throughout the day, archaeologists will look at collections to help identify artifacts, Native American artists will show their wares and several lectures will be given. Visitors to this event will also enjoy guided tours and re-enactments.
