Ann, we're sorry to hear about your experience at the Fort Gibson Dam Site Campground. That area is managed by the Army Corps of Engineers, and their official website is listed at the top of this page. If you would like to speak to someone about your experience, please call 918-683-6618. Another nearby camping option that you may be interested in is Sequoyah State Park in Hulbert, which is about 16 miles north right on Fort Gibson. Best wishes and thank you for using

A group of friends and I planned a great getaway to camp at FG dam site. We traveled from Tulsa, found the location from this site and arrived in the afternoon. We set up our site, made dinner, a beautiful fire and at 10pm a man and his wife, we assume who watch the park came to us to say very rudely the park is closed and we had to pack up and leave or they would call the police. There were other campers as well that they made leave too. There were no signs, gates were open to the park all day stating the 6am to 10pm gate times. Bathrooms were open. We were so disappointed, ruined our vacation as well as the money and other friends that planned on coming down the next day. We would suggest that the websites as well as signage at the park be updated to show the park is closed to campers so this doesn't happen to someone else. This was a very sad and dissapointing experience.

Me and a few friends are looking for a campsite for this weekend. What are the prices per night for this place?

My favorite place to camp however this July 2014 the maintanance was terrible. Tall grass, broken and or no grills, overflowing fire pits... I don't know where my $180 in fees went, but it wasn't on any of this stuff.
