The 35th annual Redbud Classic will feature two days of running, cycling, walking and marathon events in Oklahoma City's Nichols Hills district. The Redbud Classic is an Oklahoma City tradition involving the community through fitness, fun and philanthropy. The race's 5K and 10K events are USATF sanctioned and certified. Runners will wear timing chips to ensure race accuracy and runners will be eligible for state and national records and rankings. Lace up your tennis shoes and come to the Redbud Classic for the 5K and 10K runs, a 10-, 33- or 50-mile bike tour or a one-mile children's fitness run.
Water stations will be available throughout the course, as well as at the start and finish areas. The Redbud Classic will also feature a two-mile walk and baby stroller derby. This non-competitive walk is for all ages and all levels of fitness. The annual Redbud Bash, post-race celebration will welcome all runners/walkers at the finish line. An awards ceremony will be held within the Nichols Hills Plaza and will feature live entertainment and concessions.
