It is true that they lock the gates. What is also true is that the attendants, lovely married couple work hard to keep the place spotless, monitor double parking when visitors block paying campers by policing the road and gently enforcing the rules. Locking the gates at night for entrance only, you can still leave anytime, helps to keep out unwanted teenagers and trouble. They also deal with unwanted and lost pets, help out the regulars and this is a great park in all! The bathrooms are bleach cleaned multiple times a day and don't smell. Wonderful kids playground if a bit outdated. Nice trails and brand new swim beach. Plenty of parking. Lots of wildlife.

Here is something you will NOT see in their website, They lock the gates at 10pm and if you are not in their by then you can park your vehicle and walk over a half mile to get to your camper. Felt like I was in prison ~Also the water was @200' away from camp site ... will never go back
