The BBQ 'N Blues Festival in Cushing is an annual event that pays tribute to the community's oil pipeline history. A free, public event held each June, the BBQ 'N Blues Festival pairs exquisite barbecue with blues music performed by musicians from as far away as Chicago. 110 pounds of meat will be smoked on the World's Largest Permanent Smoker for the public to enjoy. Other specialty food vendors include Boss Doggz Gourmet Hot Dog Stand and Chilly Willy's Sno Cone Stand.

Local artisans and vendors will also be selling their wares to crowds of festival-goers. Make sure to purchase a tasting kit so you can try all of the delicious barbecue entries and vote for your favorite. You can even pick up a souvenir t-shirt and cup to commemorate the event. Children at the BBQ 'N Blues Festival will enjoy train rides, pony rides, inflatables, face painting, balloon art and more.
