Come to Woolly Weekend at Shepherd's Cross for a sheep-shearing experience on a working sheep farm. Walk through the barn and observe "Sheep to Shawl" techniques as shepherds and shepherdesses shear, wash, spin and weave the wool into a usable product. Shepherd's Shop will also be open, offering a great collection of woolly and farm-related gifts. Demonstrations throughout the day will include the art of using spinning wheels, washing wool, using looms, knitting, crocheting, felting, drop spindles and other wool crafting.The Bible Garden will also be open for mini-tours with ...
