Will Rogers Days celebrates the November 4, 1879, birth of Will Rogers, Oklahoma's favorite son, as well as the opening of the Will Rogers Memorial Museum on November 4, 1938.  An array of festivities are planned to commemorate this date, including Will Rogers' birthday celebration.  Don't miss the Will Rogers Days Parade in downtown Claremore on Saturday.  Watch as decorated floats, marching bands, cars, show horses and more make their way down Will Rogers Boulevard.

As part of the festivities, Will Rogers Days Children's Day at the Museum is on Thursday. The afternoon is filled with trick roping, storytelling, old fashioned games, refreshments and music. It is a great introduction to Will Rogers' era from the late 1800s to the early 1900s. On Saturday, head to the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore for the antique and classic car show.  Admire rows of sleek vehicles from decades past, including a variety of makes and models.
