Experience the beauty of nature at the Bald Eagle Watch in the Chickasaw National Recreation Area in Sulphur. Hosted the last two Saturdays in January, this event gives the unique opportunity to observe wildlife and nature. Bring your field guides, camera, sack lunch, binoculars and dress warm for this eagle watch.  This event begins at Travertine Nature Center in the Chickasaw National Recreation Area and includes a brief interpretive program talk followed by a park ranger-led trip to observe wintering bald eagles on the Lake of the Arbuckles. From I-35, take exit 55 east on SH-7 toward Davis. Drive to US-177, then go south on US-177, and immediately turn left on the next road, Pereimeter Rd. Go two miles to Travertine Nature Center.
