The Spring Creek Trail at Arcadia Lake is a close getaway for hikers and mountain bikers in the Oklahoma City metro area. Begin your hiking adventure at Spring Creek Park on the west side of Arcadia Lake. You'll encounter several break-away trails from the main path, but you'll get a more outdoor experience if you continue to branch away from the park. The most difficult portion of the Spring Creek hiking trail is Burn Out Hill, which you'll encounter shortly after beginning the hike. Spring Creek will bring a welcome reprieve after two more miles of hiking, and this will be a good turnaround point if you're looking to complete a four-mile trek.

Continuing on from Spring Creek, you'll begin to hike northeast toward Route 66. Hikers along this trail will come very close to the Mother Road before heading directly east and continuing across Edmond Park and Central Park before coming to the park office. This total distance from Burn Out Hill to the park office is 6.3 miles.
