Gunther, I am Scottish and know Octoberfest in Munich Germany starts in September. The Octoberfest in Choctaw is the most authentic I have ever attended. They have the best selection of German beer and German food of any Octoberfest I have attended in the USA. I apologize for those who read German because you will find this comment to be redundant!

Hallo Gunther, da Du ja Deutsch bist must du doch wissen das Oktoberfest in Muenchen mitte September anfaengt?!

Kevin, the temperature never reached 105 degrees. How did a Ticket seller rip you off for $10?? I challenge you to find food priced lower at any other Oktoberfest in the country. Beer that is imported from Germany at $180 a Keg cannot be sold for less. Drink Budweiser it's only $5, oh BTW, where do you get a pint (Yes that is what size the cup is) of real German beer for less than $7 in the US?? Sour Grapes Sir, not sure why. Why did you not raise your concerns with us that day? I really do not appreciate it when people make online comments without raising their concerns with the event/establishment. Go to the Fair and see what you pay for food and beer....oh wait they don't have German beer.

We had a fantastic time at Oktoberfest! The food and bands were great! We watched an artist carve statues out of a tree stump with a chain saw. The kids played on inflatables slides and climbed the rock wall. We also had the absolute best Kettle Pop Corn ever. Everyone in our group had a great time!

Had a great time! Only 5$ to get in! Food fresh, hot and delicious! Bands great and great atmosphere!!!!

I have attended may Oct fest around the country and this is a rip off. After being ripped off by the ticket seller for $10 my experience plummeted from there. The food was over priced Wall Mart quality and the beer was $7 a small cup. The band was good but Aug is to hot to move the temp was 105. Not worth spending $5 to enter.
