The Eastern Shawnee Tribal Powwow, held near Wyandotte, is a three-day celebration of Native American life and culture. Visitors to this free event will be greeted with several dancing contests, a spectacular display of regalia, food and games. The powwow will include dancing categories such as men's traditional, fancy, straight, grass and golden age, as well as women's cloth, buckskin, jingle, fancy shawl and golden age.
