Denise: Yes, this is a good place to find the true value of a stamp collection. I suggest you ncome on Friday afternoon June 20th. You will have 15 dealers to visit in one place. That is the only time all year that you can have that opportunity. If you can tell me whether you have nonly U.S. or worldwide stamps, I can better advise you on which of the dealers to visit.nnJoe Crosby Chairman 405-990-2389

Would this be a good place to find the true value of a stamp collection that was our grandfathers and remained in great condition for 30 years. He had a 9 book inventory that he updated yearly. This was his passion lots of money and time involved. Showed it to one local collector well over a year ago and he wanted to call in a national dealer but last minute called a friend instead a offered a very low price. Hmmm! Then followed up with his offer way too many times. I know enough to know that just 3 of the high value stamps are worth what he offered for everything. So I am seeking knowledge of value without pressure but with where I could possibly sale. Thank you

Beth: I am not sure you have received a response in regard to your mother's stamp collection. If you would like to discuss it further, contact Joe Crosby at 990-2389 in Oklahoma City.

From Beth McKee on 12/26/13

Joe, we are interested in learning about our mother's stamp collection that has been passed down to us. Do you have a recommendation of whom we might contact to determine its value? Are collections typically more valuable as a whole, sold in sets, or individually? Also, is the only stamp show in OKC the one scheduled next October? Thank you, Beth McKee
