The annual Fort Reno Candlelight Tour, held at Historic Fort Reno, features re-enactors portraying people, events and short scenes that detail Fort Reno life from 1874 to present.  Re-enactments will be held by lantern and candlelight and will take visitors on a journey through different time periods.  Come to the Fort Reno Candlelight Tour and tour historic camps, which will be available for viewing on the grounds and within the on-site chapel.

The stories of aviatrix Amelia Earhart, persistent Boomer David L. Payne and the Buffalo Soldiers will be told or viewed along with other stories of army scouts, the Cheyenne and Arapaho people, a Quartermaster Re-mount cowboy, the Fort Reno gossips, a school teacher with her class and actual people born and raised at the post.  Visitors will be guided around the parade grounds and into the chapel to experience these scenes from history. Other activities will include a visit with local paranormal investigation teams about unexplained activity at the fort and a tour of the Fort Reno Visitors Center Museum.
