Description

Make your way to the Boots & BBQ Festival in Claremore for a sanctioned Kansas City-style barbecue cook-off. This event attracts 30-40 of the top barbecue competitors in the nation. Get a heaping plate of delicious barbecue and vote for your favorite team. Stick around to witness $10,000 in cash prizes go to the winners. The Boots & BBQ Festival includes vendors and an opportunity to enjoy live horse racing and live entertainment in the evenings at Cherokee Casino Will Rogers Downs, located adjacent to the festival. There is no fee for parking or entry into the event.

We have attended for the past 5 years and have never been disappointed. Good BBQ! Keep in mind, this is a fund-raising event, so get there early and don't buy a taster's kit if you don't like what you see.

we have attended every year for the last 10 yrs & watched it grow every year! It is excellent family entertainment & the food is excellent!

Out of BBQ!? Really? It wasn't even 1 pm. Won't go back next year.
