Participate in one of Honor America Day's wide variety of events and challenge the citizens of Anadarko to a fishing contest, turtle race, soap box derby, chalk art contest and more. Build a sand castle to rival all others in the festival's sand sculpture contest, or grab a friend and participate in a three-legged race. Honor America Day will also feature a three-on-three basketball tournament, a men's fast-pitch tournament, arts and crafts and plenty of activities for the kids including moon bounces and a slide. At the end of the day, point your gaze skyward for a breathtaking fireworks display as soon as the sun sets.
