Travel back in time and take a look into the past while attending Coweta's Civil War Candlelight Tour & Re-enactment. Return to the year 1864 as former Union and Confederate forces inside Indian Territory are on the move. As the Confederates plan to capture tiny Fort Wayne near the Arkansas border, will the Union forces protect their position or will the Confederates succeed in their mission? Come to the Civil War Candlelight Tour & Re-enactment and find out, but be careful. Passwords may be required to move safely through the camps unchallenged. Also take the time to check out the Coweta Mission camp of mountain men.

School Days begins at 10:00 AM on Friday and the Candlelight tour begins at 6 PM on Friday. On Saturday and Sunday the living history begins at 10:00 AM with a battle reeactment about 1:00 PM both days. Saturday night at 7:00 PM (period attire is suggested, but not required). On Sunday there will be an outside period church service at 10:00.

From Tulsa, take B.A. Expy. Exit onto Hwy 51E (Coweta Exit). Go approx 9 miles; turn right at streetlight onto 305 E Ave. Continue 1.3 miles past Coweta High School and cemetery. Turn left onto 161st St. Travel approx 1.4 miles to sign, turn onto gravel road and proceed to end of road.
