Experience Christmas in the Cherokee Outlet as it was more than 100 years ago with the sights, smells and sounds of the holiday season at Christmas in the Village in Enid.  Escape to a simpler time and enjoy character-led tours of the beautifully adorned historic buildings within the Cherokee Strip Regional Heritage Center complex.  Bring the entire family out on December 5 for this event's grand opening celebration and enjoy holiday refreshments, the glow of Christmas lights and a musical performance in the Village Church.  Send a letter to Santa, make a Christmas ornament with the schoolmarm at Turkey Creek School, enjoy cookies and cider, or shop for homemade items and historical looking toys in the Village Mercantile.
