The 89er Day Parade in Norman celebrates the anniversary of the Great Land Run of 1889, which opened up the Unassigned Lands in central Oklahoma for settlement.  This impressive parade features color guard and military parade participants, covered wagons, Western displays, classic and vintage cars, horses, bands and more.  You'll even have the chance to see the parade mascot, 89er Norm.
