The annual Rural Heritage Festival, held in conjunction with Perry's Spring Fest, celebrates Perry's heritage by stepping back into the early days of Oklahoma. Re-enactors will demonstrate lost arts such as rope-making, blacksmithing, soap making, spinning, tatting and basket weaving. Other festivities include school children wrapping a brightly colored maypole and sampling a day in school at the museum's 1910 one-room schoolhouse. From I-35, take Exit 186 and go east 1/4 mile. Museum is located on the north side of Hwy 64 (Fir St).
