Join the Chisholm Trail Heritage Center to celebrate cowboy history with the National Day of the Cowboy event in Duncan. Come enjoy free, family-friendly activities for all ages at this indoor, air-conditioned facility. Watch a cattle stampede at the 4D Experience Theater, hear campfire tales from animatronic Jesse Chisholm, and learn about life on the trail at "Technology of the West: Chuck Wagon Exhibit."
Art lovers will want to check out the Garis Gallery of the American West, where they can view prized works by George Catlin, Frederic Remington and Charles Russell. Other local and regional artists are also on display, including the work of Gay Faulkenberry, Paul Moore, KW Whitley and Marjorie Reed. There will also be a designated area for little buckaroos to play, get their faces painted and more.
