Don't forget to get your picture taken with Bigfoot while attending this year's festivities. The campground allows for primitive tent camping as well as limited RV camping with electric hookups, available by advance reservation only.

The annual Bigfoot Conference provides presentations by prominent Bigfoot researchers speaking about their experiences and subsequent research. This year's guest speakers include David Paulides, Harvey Pratt, Scott Nelson, Ron Morehead and others. Multiple Q&A sessions and presentations will be planned. Don't miss this unique Oklahoma event, which has been educating and entertaining visitors for nearly a decade.

From Gwen on 05/21/15

Do you still need food vendors?

From owner on 09/15/14

Thank you Jana. We are working on getting a printer friendly flier and info page onto the website that is still under construction. Next year we will be completely up and running. This year is our first effort at reestablishing the Honobia Bigfoot Festival and Bigfoot Conference. I will forward your information to our committee president. I'll get your phone number from your website: http://www.saltcreeklodge.com/ Thank you for contacting us!

From Jana on 09/11/14

Do you have a flyer/schedule of events that we can post for our guests? We have openings at Salt Creek Lodge in Idabel if you have anyone looking for lodging instead of camping! We also have our Finding Bigfoot cabin open for that weekend. It is in the woods and signed by Matt Moneymaker when they were here in January.

From Farlan Huff on 08/22/14

Thank you for the well wishes. For the most part the Honobia Festival & Sasquatch Conference committee members are the same faces as always. We feel like this year's Honobia Festival will be a great one with lots of family fun and scientific information for the serious Bigfooters and the curious alike! We look forward to seeing everyone at the Kiamichi Mountains Mission Campgrounds in Honobia, Oklahoma!

From Darryl Williams on 08/19/14

We helped with this festival from 08 thru 2011, until it was cancelled in 2012, then continued then moved on down the road and continued to have a Big Foot at Ludlow, 5 miles East. Hope the best for the new people with the attempt to re-establish.

From Leflore County Paranormal Society on 08/16/14

We attended the Bigfoot Conference Festival in 2013. The Founder and lead investigator gave a short tutorial on paranormal activity and Cryptozoology, which is one of the areas that we study. He and Bill Bennett, a friend and colleague of Mr. Keeton's, camped overnight and enjoyed the festivities and the campfire. They found out that this area of the Quachita National Forest and in particular, the Honobia area is a great resource for legend and Bigfoot exploration. They had a great time and enjoyed talkng to the peoplethat attended. We hope to return in October 2014. For more information and resources concerning Leflore County Paranormal Society, pls look us up on Facebook where our contact information is also available. Keep Squatchin!!

From TERESA BLACK on 08/15/14

This is a beautiful area of deep woods and mountains. I hope to attend the Bigfoot fest for the 1st time. I enjoy just driving through these tall woods. THere is not much population. But some people live in beautiful homes, some in small cabins. If BIgfoot is around, he'd be right at home far from the modern world. Deer on the roads, rivers, mountain trails, road runners-- lovely area.
