The citizens of Harrah celebrate their town and all it has to offer during the Harrah Heritage Fest. This day full of fun activities and food includes something for everyone. Local musicians and other entertainers show of their talent and take the stage throughout the day. Enjoy their music while walking around and attending the other festival events.

Enter your favorite chili recipe in the chili cook-off. There will be stiff competition from the locals, and all participants must bring two gallons of their one-of-a-kind creations for everyone to sample. Awards and trophies are given and the highly anticipated spectator tasting is only $5 for those who wish to eat instead of cook.

The Harrah Heritage Fest also includes the Chili Dog Fun Run through Harrah Heritage Park. Grab your tennis shoes and come with your appetite. During this one mile run, participants assemble a chili dog along the way and dig in at the end. Each runner begins with a hot dog bun, grabs a hot dog at stop one, a beverage at stop two and the chili at stop three. They then eat their hot dog and drink their beer or soft drink as fast as they can before crossing the finish line. Registration is required, and a trophy is given to the victor.
