Dwight Mission Camp
Dwight Mission Camp in Vian is a retreat center for large groups near Lake Tenkiller. It was built as an Indian school in the 1820s and is now a great, historic place to host your next meeting or reunion. Availability for rental may be limited in the summer months. The camp includes a dining hall with a PA system and cafeteria style dining. There are also buildings with meeting space for up to 150 people, ropes courses, a labyrinth, an outdoor pool, pavilions and tons of space for tent camping. Canoeing, a disc golf course and walking trails are all available as recreational activities.
There are plenty of lodging options including two large dormitories, Sage Hall and Washburn Hall, that each sleep more than 80 people. They both have a lounge area, meeting space and restrooms. The Walkingstick Lodge has four rooms and can sleep up to 14 people. It has a bathroom, central heat and air as well as a covered porch. The Guest Lodge has four bedrooms and can sleep up to 16 people in bunk beds. It also has a porch that runs the length of the cabin and restrooms.
