Theatre Pops presents: "Bard Fiction"
Theatre Pops presents: "Bard Fiction" at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center. The style and story of acclaimed director Quentin Tarantino are combined with the writing style and poetry of William Shakespeare for a totally unique stage experience.
The characters from Tarantino's hit "Pulp Fiction" are plopped in the London underworld of 17th century England. During this production, expect daggers and broadswords instead of guns, messengers instead of cell phones and carriages instead of fast cars.
The dialog is written in Shakespeare's signature iambic pentameter, but the characters are still as ruthless and shocking as they fight for honor and deal with betrayal. This show is recommended for mature audiences only.
