They talk about the 'bubbles' bathhouse how nice it is...WRONG! THe pictures on the website must have been taken right after renovation, because they were gross AND they are only open during office hours..which sucks. Also right next to us, two young kids brought 2 pit bulls that got loose from the leash and went after a older dog there, which was terrifying and makes me ask, 'why is aggressive dogs allowed at the camping site'? Would not return here...

From sheldon on 07/29/14

Bad experience. Parking lot is a free for all with no organization or monitoring. We parked our car next to others already parked and went on float. Returned to find our car and many others trapped by cars parked 3-4 deep. Management would do nothing. Said parking is not their responsibility and we would have to wait for someone to complete their float and move cars. We were stuck for 2 hours. Be smart and use another float company.

What a disappointment. We were only looking for a campground to spend the night. The website showed a beautiful campground with awesome sites. Never believe what you read on the internet. The staff when we checked was less than friendly or helpful. The entrance was hard to find, the water on our site did not work, the grass was knee high and the flies carried us away. Because of the grass and flies we were unable to sit outside like we like to do. There was fire debris right next to the pad and we had to readjust to get it away from the door of our RV. This place was a mess and would never recommend it to anyone especially if you have children.

We stayed there on 8/3 - 8/4 doing the 12 mile float on both days. The staff was extremely nice, especially Allison, helping us out as it was our first time there. The campground was not the Ritz by any stretch of my imagination but I went there to have fun - the wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time and will definitely be going back as much as possible. Thanks Allison and staff! We appreciate everything that you did! We will be back.

Just stayed there this weekend and had a blast! We rented the camping cabin and it met our needs! It was not the holiday inn by any means but we did not expect it to be! We did the 12 mile float on a raft and loved every mile! The river was perfect and so was the weather! I would love to do it again , and plan to soon!!

From Kim Calton on 07/14/13

we camped in the RV park and it needs alot of work. the restrooms were nasty. The trash was full, grass needed cut and 4th of July trash was still everywhere a week later. O and the bubbles House GROSS. Will not be going back.

From Christine on 06/28/13

This has by far been the worst camping experience that I have ever had. Besides being surrounded by trash, the bugs are worse than any jungle I have ever been in. We did everything possible to keep this problem under control. I love camping, but I believe sleeping on an ant hill would be about as comfortable. I can't believe we actually paid to be this miserable. I want my money back.

From Bobbi Gann on 06/03/13

We rented the Eagle Bluff cabin for two nights a couple of weeks ago. I was not impressed. They were weed-eating the cabin when we were trying to carry our stuff in, they didn't even have light bulbs in, yet. One of the workers said that they usually spray for bugs, but they hadn't had time to do that, yet, and there were live bugs and worms crawling in the floor. There were dead bugs hanging from spider webs all over the walls. There was debris all over the beds. I'm positive they hadn't even gone in to clean or anything since last summer. We asked for our money back, but they wouldn't budge, claiming that it says on the website that the cabin was a primitive camping cabin. Nowhere on the website does it say that. We ended up getting a hotel room.

From Erica on 03/20/12

We have stayed at the camp ground of Eagle Bluff several times and we have had a blast. My son is 9 years old and my daughter is 17. We had a great time camping and floating the river.

From Karen Anderson on 03/13/12

We stayed in the eagle bluff cabins last summer. It was horrible, The AC did not work, the walls had holes all over, the mattress on the bed sucked. The bathroom was disgusting. It was just plain nasty in there. Would not recommend staying in one of their cabins.

We had A GREAT time this last weekend....the resort was great....y'all know what ur doin and you do it WELL!! the water was awesome.....I hater to see so much litter along the trip....it's bot that hard to keep our country clean....everyone needs to do their part......but we did have a GREAT time tho!!

From Carla Tracy-Tucker on 04/09/11

Eagle Bluff is the home of Combs Bridge which is featured in the movie Where the Red Fern Grows. Anywhere you go on scenic hwy 10 is great.

From Kenny on 08/05/10

we stayed in the Gavin. The cabin was huge, had a basketball & volleyball court in the backyard and cold a/c. But, the inside of the cabin was disgusting. It was so dirty we cooked everything outside on the grill and avoided the bathroom as much as possible. The beds were like a cheap foam matress on a piece of plywood. Would not recommend this cabin to others.
