Local artist and Iraq war veteran Josh Butts created a vibrant mural on the Tulsa Beef & Provision Building in celebration of the Pearl District's revival. He added elements that match the district's mission to "Reinvent the Art of City Life" and gave nods to the district's name with an actual string of pearls clasped between someone's fingers and a Pearl District street sign. The Tulsa skyline and Centennial Park also make a cameo in Butts' artistic rendering of the district's modern comeback.
