This was a very nice place to stay. The room and massage were excellent. Dinner was awesome, however they forgot to bring us our dessert. I was under the impression that the prices were all inclusive but at check out I was asked to provide a tip. If I knew a tip was expected I would have tipped each server myself instead of at check out. Michael was very good and worked very hard to make our stay comfortable. I wish I had given a tip to him directly.

This was the most wonderful place to stay and well worth the price. The owners, and staff were so nice and down to earth. The rooms were beautifully decorated in antique furniture and different themes and the beds were comfortable and the jetted tub divine. The breakfast included in your stay was 2 courses the first being french toast and fruit with home made toppings made from their orchard, then followed by scrambled eggs, frittata, spicy eggs, home fries biscuit and gravy and either bacon or sausage. Make sure to spend the extra money on the evening meal, the food is to die for. The food was of the best quality and was prepared better than some of the 4 star restaurants I have eaten at. The start with a salad and garlic bread and an awesome hibiscus drink made from fruit from their orchard and topped with champagne, the steak was seasoned and perfectly cooked, fresh halibut from Alaska lightly seasoned and fresh crab in a creamy sauce on rice then the finale chocolate mouse with cake and mixed berry topped homemade cheesecake. I needed a wheel barrel to get me up from the table but it was so relaxing to sit on the porch or go for a walk on the grounds. Trust me incredible does not even begin to describe the experience. Plus the spa services offered were awesome and fairly priced. Go enjoy and save room for the food , yum! Great place for romance and for getaways for sisters, friends and would even be a great place for a reunion. I will go back.

Seriously you write a 1 star review because you failed to ask the prices? When we left we were charged exactly what the owner told us things would cost while we were there. the only reason a person would be surprised is if you never asked how much things would cost. Things are not free in life and for some people staying at a place like this is a once in a lifetime thing. For us it will be a yearly thing if not more. If your reading my review and your considering going to Echo Canyon spa and resort, just give them a call and ASK for any package deals and discounts they have. If you stay here you WILL NOT be disappointed in the rooms, the meal, or the spa. My Review... When we arrived we were met by Carol, one of the owners. She made us feel very welcome and at home while showing us around. Our room was the Cabernet Castle. We had a nice view of the canyon and got to see several humming birds chasing each other around. For supper we were served peach champagne, Prime Filet Mignon, Roasted Duck, Alaskan Halibut with a stuffed potato. I truly cannot describe how wonderful this food was, 5 stars does not do it justice. My mouth starts watering every time I think about it. You also had a choice of Prime New York or Kobe Beef cut. Both I heard were fabulous. Our plates were clean except for the potato skins. Our desert was cheese cake and Chocolate Mousse. Awesome! After supper we headed to the bar. We had a wonderful evening visiting with the owners Joe and Carol. If you’re a wine drinker Joe has some of the best wines. I’m a scotch whiskey kind of guy and he brought out some whiskey called Knob Creek, 7 years aged, wow nice! Our room was very cozy and the bed sheets very soft. Breakfast was the best ever. The first course was a choice of a waffle, blueberry pancakes, or French toast. My wife had the waffle which looked like a wheat waffle with a hint of nuts in it. I went for the French toast. The second plate was fluffy scrambled eggs, spicy scrambled eggs, fried potatoes, turkey bacon, and a crispy biscuit covered with scrumptious gravy. Wow I’m starving again. My wife and I had hour long massages, we didn’t want to leave! Even though the pool was not open everything else about our stay was wonderful and we plan on making this a yearly get away for just the two of us.

Would have been a great experience except for the surprise bill at the end of the stay. Get things in writing before your stay.
